From the homepage, locate the "Generate Plan" button and click it. This will automatically create a project under "My Drafts," allowing you to jump straight into the process.

Step 2: Enter Your Dimensions

Once you’re in the "Plan" screen, you’ll be prompted on the right hand side to enter your project details. Input the desired dimensions, such as square footage, number of rooms, and any other specifics.

Step 3: Click "Generate"

With your dimensions entered, simply click the "Generate" button. Maket’s AI will instantly create draft plans based on your inputs, ready for you to review and refine.

Click "Sketch to Editable Plan" to use AI for plan recognition.
Enter the following details:

Name: Give your plan a name.
Type: Choose between "Drawing" or "Hand-Drawing."
Scale Rate: Input the scale for accurate rendering.

Click "Continue" to generate your editable plan.

Note: AI may produce errors with low-resolution or hand-drawn plans. Ensure your file is a JPEG or PNG under 20 MB for the best results.

Uploading an existing plan to Maket is quick and easy. Use AI to recognize your floorplan and convert it into an editable design. Follow these steps to get started.

Step 1: Access the Upload Feature

To begin, either click on an existing project or use the Create button located in the top-right corner of the homepage.

Step 2: Select "From Upload"

In the Create menu, choose the "From Upload" option to upload an existing file.

Step 3: Choose "Sketch to Editable Plan"

Once you’re in the upload menu, click on "Sketch to Editable Plan." This feature uses AI to analyze and recognize the floorplan. Keep in mind that while powerful, the AI may produce errors, especially with low-resolution or hand-drawn plans.

What's the plan generator and how does it work?

Maket's plan generator can create residential floorplans based on inputted dimensions.

You can enter in square footage, number of rooms, room dimensions and 1 or 2 floors to generate plans. Currently, we can only support 2 floors per project, you cannot generate or add more than 2 floors per design. Our plan generator can only generate residential floorplans, not commercial.

Creating a plan from scratch is perfect for when you have a specific project in mind, such as designing a single room or working on something other than a standard residential plan. Follow these straightforward steps to get started.

Human digitization is a simple and reliable way to turn your residential 2D floor plans into editable designs. Our team of experts will manually process your uploaded plan, ensuring accuracy and precision. Here's how it works and what to expect.

What Is Human Digitization?

When you choose human digitization, we take your uploaded 2D plan and re-trace it exactly as is. This process ensures that your plan is accurately digitized without any additional materials, furniture, or design elements. The result is a clean, editable version of your original floor plan, ready to use in Maket.

Quick Steps

Go to the Upload Section: Click on an existing project or use the Create button in the top-right corner of the homepage.
Select "From Upload": In the menu, choose the "From Upload" option.
Upload Your Plan: Choose your file in JPEG or PNG format. If your plan is in PDF, take a screenshot and upload it instead.
Choose Human Digitization: Select the human digitization option to submit your plan for manual processing.
Submit and Wait: Once uploaded, your plan will be processed and returned within 24-48 hours.

No, we're working on it.

Currently, you can only enter in dimensions to generate **residential **floorplans. Please view this guide to learn how to start generating residential plans.

We acknowledge and understand that text to plan is a highly requested feature. We are currently in the process of R&D to bring this to Maket as quick as possible.
