How to generate images using text

Quick Steps

  1. Click Create in the top right corner
  2. Select Image
  3. Type your prompt and click Generate
  4. Click Save to Project

Creating beautiful, AI generated images in Maket is quick and flexible and you don’t even need to upload anything to get started. Whether you're visualizing a room, an exterior, or a full elevation, here’s how to go from idea to image in just a few clicks.

Step 1: Choose Where You Want to Save

To begin, either open an existing Project or click Image directly from the dashboard. If you start from the dashboard, your images will be saved under My Drafts. If you start from a project, they’ll be saved within that specific project folder.

Note: If you're inside a project, you’ll need to click Create again in the top right corner after entering your project details, then select Image to start generating.

Step 2: Set Up Your Image Generation

Once you enter the Image tool, you’ll see the Render screen.

If you’re only looking to generate an image based on text — you’re good to go. You do not need to upload any picture. Simply ignore the “Upload” section if you're not using a reference photo.

Step 3: Define What You Want to Create

Choose what type of image you're creating:

  • Interior
  • Exterior
  • Elevation

Next, you can choose from optional drop downs to define:

  • Room style (e.g., Modern, Rustic, Minimalist)
  • Materials (e.g., Brick, Wood, Concrete)

You can either:

  • Just write a text prompt,
  • Just choose options from the drop downs,
  • Or do both — it’s entirely up to you and your workflow.

Note: The text prompt box is located at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar. To access it, hover your mouse over the render panel and scroll down — the prompt field will appear once you reach the lower section.

Step 4: Generate and Save

After writing your prompt and making your selections (if any), click Generate to create the image.

When you're happy with the result, click Save to Project in the bottom-left corner. This will save your image either to My Drafts or your selected Project, depending on where you started from.

Make sure to 'Save to project' to ensure not to lose your image
