Quick Steps

1. Generate a Plan: (See our guide on generating plans).
2. Click "Edit Layout": Found in the top-right corner of your plan.
3. Modify the Layout: Move, resize, add, or remove rooms as needed.
4. Click "Regenerate" & Save: Ensure your changes are applied.
5. Open Advanced Editing (Optional): Click the three dots in the bottom right corner of your plan and select Advanced Edit to continue adding furniture, materials, and 3D views.

The Basic Floorplan Editor is a quick way to adjust your generated floorplans before moving into advanced editing. This tool lets you rearrange, resize, add, or remove rooms in a simple block based layout before making detailed edits.

Step 1: Generate Your Floorplan

Create a new floorplan as usual. If you need help, check out our guide on generating plans.

Step 2: Click "Edit Layout"

Once your plan is generated, locate the Edit Layout button in the top-right corner of your selected plan.

Step 3: Adjust Your Floorplan

• Move Rooms: Drag rooms around to reposition them.
• Resize Rooms: Adjust the size of individual spaces. This is done by clicking on the rooms and dragging them by the corners. You'll see the measurements adjust as you drag out or in / up or down.
• Add or Remove Rooms: Use the right hand and click on 'rooms' to add in some additional rooms. You'll be able to have even more of an option once you open up the advanced editor.

Step 4: Click "Regenerate" & Save

After making adjustments, click Regenerate to apply your changes, then click **Save ** to lock in your floorplan.

Step 5: Move to Advanced Editing (Optional)

If you want to further customize your floorplan, such as adding furniture, materials, or viewing in 3D:

• Click the three dots in the bottom right corner of your plan.
• Select Advanced Edit to continue refining your design.

• Fine-Tune in Advanced Editing: Add materials, furniture, and paint.
• View in 3D: Switch to 3D mode for a better visualization of your plan.
• Export & Share: Save your plan as a PDF, DXF, or JPEG.
