  Maket's plan generator can create residential floorplans based on inputted dimensions. You can enter in square footage, number of rooms, room dimensions and 1 or 2 floors to generate plans. • Can I use a text prompt to generate plans?

  No, we're working on it. Currently, you can only enter in dimensions to generate residential floorplans. Please view this guide to learn how to start generating residential plans. • Can I generate plans for an apartment, multi-unit, duplex or condo?

  Our plan generator can only generate plans for detached single family homes of 1 or 2 floors. However, if you already have an existing plan, we may be able to digitize it for further refinement. If you don’t have a plan but have instructions or guidelines, our Advanced Editor allows you to start from scratch and manually create a layout based on your specifications.   When first signing up, you have access to a free project where you can generate as many residential plans as wanted and edit one within our editor, allowing you to furnish and view it in 3D. • Why is my prompt not being respected when generating images or renders?

  AI models can sometimes be unpredictable, and results may not always perfectly match your prompt. If your image isn’t turning out as expected, try rewording your prompt—clear, concise descriptions work best, while overly detailed prompts can confuse the AI. Play around with different phrasing and regenerate a few times to get the right look. Also, always export your image for the best quality, as the preview may not fully reflect the final result. • Can I create exterior elevations using Maket?

  No, you cannot generate elevations directly on Maket based on a plan. Our editing tool focuses mostly on interior. Exterior optimization is on our roadmap. However, you can take an image of an exterior elevation and upload it into the render feature under 'elevation' and generate it in colours and materials.Few readers

• Can I add a roof?

  We are currently still working on optimizing for adding roofing to plans within the editor. For now, you are limited to creating flat roof's by drawing a surface over top of the plan and raising it to 'roof'.Few readers

• Can I change the page language?

  Currently, you cannot change the language directly on Maket. We're working on this. In the meantime, if you're working through Google Chrome you can translate the page in any language.Few readers

• Can I use AI with my existing plan?

  You cannot use AI to regenerate a different layout to your existing plan or to furnish the layout. The editing process is currently done manually within the editor. However, to use AI, you can take a screenshot of a furnished room in 3D, of your plan, venture over to our render feature, upload the screenshot and write in a text prompt to get a different style. • How to pause my subscription?

  Contact us, we can pause your subscription for you, then reactivate it whenever you want. Or, you have the option to cancel and come back whenever. Don't worry, none of your work will be lost, it'll all remain saved in your 'My Designs' tab. You won't have access to open up all your projects until you subscribe again.   There are two ways to get back to the editor from your saved designs. Option 1: Hover your mouse over top of the design, click the three dots in the top right corner, then click Edit.
